To solve this problem we have that the equation varies inversely with x, so we can suppose that the equation have this form (because when x is higher f(x) will be lower):


f(x)=(a)/(x)

Having this and using the initial values we can find the
a value:


f(x)=0.2\\x=0.4\\

Replacing this values in the initial equation and clearing it, we have:


a=0.2*0.4=0.08

knowing that a is 0.08 we can use the new x value to find the new f(x), this is:


f(x)=(0.08)/(x)=(0.08)/(1.6)=0.05

Based on this the answer is B. 0.05.
