Find two consecutive positive integers such that the square of the second integer added to 3 times the

first is equal to 127.

(x+1)^2+3x=127

x^2+5x-126=0

solve with quadratic formula

x=9,-14

so, first is either 9 or -14, and the second is either -13 or 10
