The National Security
Council is the highest advisory body to the president on matters of security and defense policies. President Harry Truman (president whom made the U.S. Army drop a bomb on Japan in World War II) created it.

est advisory body to the president on matters of security and defense policies. It was created under President Truman, and is chaired by the President of the United States.
