The answer is 10.00
s - the price of one shrub
p - the price of potting soil
p = 12.50
The total bill for 1 potting soil and 5 shrubs was 62.50:
p + 5s = 62.50
12.50 + 5s = 62.50
5s = 62.50 - 12.50
5s = 50.00
s = 50.00 : 5
s = 10.00
