What times 10 equals 400

So this is your equation to figure it out: n*10 = 400
To get rid of the times 10, you need to divide both sides by 10.
Now you have n*10/10 = 400/10
The 10's on the left cancel each other out, so now you have n=400/10
400 divided by 10 is 40
ANSWER: 40
