You would multiply multiply the reciprocal of the fraction 4 / 7 on both sides to get w by itself. You would always want the variable by itself, with nothing else next to it. So, 7 / 4, the reciprocal of 4 / 7 times 24 would be 42. Sorry if its a little confusing.
