Given two points (x₁,y₁) and (x₂,y₂) the slope of the line passes through these points will be:
m=(y₂-y₁)/(x₂-x₁)

We need only two points;
For example:
The points (2,2) and (7,4).
m=(4-2)/(7-2)=2/5

The slope would be 2/5.

I you choose other points, for example (-3.0) and (12,6) the result would be the same.
m=(6-0)(12+3)=6/15=2/5

Answer: the slope would be 2/5

Answer:
(2)/(5)

Explanation:

We know that the slope of a line is given by :-

\text{Slope}=\frac{\text{Change in y}}{\text{Change in x}}

From the given table , we have

\text{Slope}=\frac{2-0}{\text{2-(-3)}}\\\\\Rightarrow\ \text{Slope}=(2)/(2+3)\\\\\Rightarrow\ \text{Slope}=(2)/(5)

Therefore, the slope of the line=
(2)/(5)
