$(1)/(4) x+18=x \ \ \ \ \ /*4 \\ x+72=4x \ \ \ \ /-x \\ 72=3x \\ 3x=72 \ \ \ /:3 \\ x=24$

$(1)/(4)x +18=x \\ 18= -(4)/(1) x+x \\ 18= (3)/(4) x\\ 24= x$
