What is the value of x in the equation x – y = 30, when y = 15?

So the equation show xmas a missing values and y as 15 so if we plug in this numeber we get something along the lines of this, x-15=30 we then do Order of operation backwards and add 15 to 30, x-15(+15)=30(+15) and get 45 as the result so x=45
