Solution

The rule of the diamond problem is given below

I will label the question as follow

Basically, we need to find a and a + b

\begin{gathered} a=\text{?} \\ b=-1 \\ ab=6 \\ a+b=\text{?} \end{gathered}

From the above info

\begin{gathered} ab=6 \\ a(-1)=6 \\ -a=6 \\ a=-6 \end{gathered}
a+b=-6+(-1)=-7

The diamond problem solution is

Sorry if you can’t see but is a 6 on top and on the right it is a -1-example-1
