Well the purpose of third wheel is that Greg and rowley are best friends and next thing you know he has a girl friend and that kind of puts a gap in the friendship but really what I trying to say is basically things don't go as planned

Why did the author write the book? Did the author write it to make people laugh, for example? Or did the author write it to entertain people?
