The British soldiers were fearful of the colonial militia. The British troops were eager to start a war with the colonies. The colonial militia was no match for the well trained British troops.

The British soldiers were fearful of the colonist, aswell as eager to start a war with the colonial militas. The colonists were far too undertrained for the British troops.
