A rule of thumb -- 6 is a fraction.

There are few methods to solve this, but I typically just do the following:

Multiply the whole number by the denominator and add the numerator.

3*6 = 18

18 + 2 = 20

The denominator stays the same.

20
3

Improper fractions -- woo.

The only other way is in improper fraction form. Written this way it would look lik this: 20/3. Hope this helps.
