What problems can happen if the government does not keep government and religion separated, like President Jefferson advocated for? Where does science fall in this?

not everyone will always agree, so there will be disagreements always. This can lead to violence

If the government doesn't keep religion separated people can take the wrong things into there own hand as there could be arguments about venues and arguments about too many people following one religion.
