so a 1 and 1/2 bag will cover 375

1=2/2
1 and 1/2=2/2 and 1/2=3/2

so 3/2 pound covers 375
2/2 pounds covers x
3/2pound=375
multiply both sides by 2 to get rid of the fraciton
3pound=750
divide both sides by 3
1pound=250 square feet so the answer is c. 250 square feet

Answer: b) 250 square feet.

Explanation:

Given: Area covered by
1(1)/(2) pounds of wildflower seeds =375 square feet

First we convert
1(1)/(2) into improper fraction i.e.
1(1)/(2)=(3)/(2), then multiply 375 with the reciprocal of
(3)/(2).

Now, Area covered by 1 pounds of wildflower seeds
=375*(2)/(3) square feet

Thus , Area covered by 1 pounds of wildflower seeds
=250 square feet.
