Because 7/8 is the same as 70/80 and 72 is greater than 70 so yeah.

Question: How do you know
(72)/(80) \ \textgreater \ (7)/(8) ?

To know for sure why its larger, you need to make sure they have the same denominator (bottom number)

To do that, multiply both sides in
(7)/(8) by 10 which is
(70)/(80)

72\ \textgreater \ 70
