The vertex here is the point such that

|x-7|=0

x-7=0

x=7

Plug into
y:

y=-2|7-7|+2

y=-2(0)+2

y=2

So the vertex is
(7, 2)

Answer:

Ordered pair of the vertex is (7,2)

Explanation:

y=-2|x-7|+2

y=-2|x-7|+2

General form of absolute function is

y=a|x-h|+k, where (h,k) is the vertex

y=-2|x-7|+2

from the given equation the value of h= 7 and k =2

So the vertex (h,k) becomes (7,2)
