Hello,
Shall we begin?
Decrease 1280 by 60%
60% = 60/100 = 0,6
= 1280 - ( 1280*0,6)
= 1280 - 768
= 512
Answers: 512

To do this you multiply 1280 by 0.4 because you want 100-60% (40%) of the number and 40% as a decimal is 0.4.
1280x0.4=512.
