Let's remember the concept of physical change:
A physical change is a change to a sample of matter in which some properties of the material change, but the identity of the matter does not.
- Mixing orange juice and water, freezing a piece of ice, and magnetizing a screwdriver are physical changes because they are not changing the state of matter.
- Burning a match is not a physical change, it is a chemical change and that's because it is changing their composition.
