Why did Alexander the great love Greece

Because he achieved many great things (compared to the standards of that time). He was a brilliant strategist, probably the best in his time. His dedication and passion inspire even today, but I do not think another Alexander would not be a good thing nowadays, because the standards have been greatly changed.
