How do you reduce a fraction to its simplest form?

By seeing if there is a number that can go into the numerator and denominator

to reduce a fraction you divide the top and bottom fraction by the same number until you cannot divide one side anymore

example: 9/12
9÷3=3
12÷3=4

reduced fraction 3/4
