1 kg/L --------------- 0.001 kg/mL
22.4 kg/L ---------- ??
22.4 x 0.001 / 1 =>
0.0224 kg/mL

22.4 kg/L (but 1 L = 1000 mL)
= 22.4 kg/(1000 mL)
= 22.4/1000 kg/mL (that's why you just have to divide by 1000)
=
0.0224 kg/mL
