distribute 4 to 3-2x and get 12-8x=15 then add 12 to both sides 8x=27 then divide by 8 on both sides x=3.375

4(3-2x)=15
12-8x=15
-8x=15-12
-8x=3 then divide both sides by -8
x=-0.375
