Plug in 6.1. It replaces f. Now multiply 2 times 6.1. That's 12.2. Now add 5. That's 17.2

f is the variable. since f is equal to 6.1 you can plug it into the other equation. you multiply 2 and 6.1. this equals 12.2 then you add two. the final answer is 14.2
