Weight = mass * acceleration

W = 40*9.8

= 392N

Answer: The Weight of the dog is 392 N.

Step-by-step explanation:

Acceleration due to gravity ,(g):
9.80m/s^2

Mass of the dog,(m) = 40 Kg

Weight is measure of force exerted by gravity on the object. Its S.I units are Newtons (
kg* m/s^2)

Weight= mass Ɨ g

40* 9.80m/s^2=392 N

Hence, the weight of the dog is 392 N.
