Hi , 9 2/3 it's now 27/3 and 14 1/3 (43/3) , because we just multiply the denominator and the number that is out , then we add the numerator and the previous answer , so now our new problem is 27/3 - 43/3 which equals to 16/3.

9(2)/(3) 14(1)/(3) = (29)/(3) - 14 (1)/(3) = (29)/(3) - (43)/(3) = (-14)/(3) = -4 (2)/(3)
As a decimal > -4.6
Note for the end fractions. 14 * 3 + 1 =
(43)/(3)
9 * 3 + 2 =
(29)/(3)
