Is (2, 0) the solution to the system below? Why or why not? Please use complete sentences.

y = 2x - 4

x + 3y = 5

(2,0) you have to replace the values at each one of the equations

x = 2 ^ y =0

*y = 2x - 4
0 = 2(2) - 4
0 = 4 - 4
0 = 0

*x + 3y = 5
2 + 3(0) = 5
2 = 5

that's not the solution bcz the values in the second equation didn't turn out the same way
