ok you do this by getting any point from the line and finding the slope(the slope is the rise over run) this one should be -3/2 because it is going up to the left now that we know that lets check our answers... there are only 2 that have -3/2 so we only have to options now lets find more facts ok our 2 points are (-3,5) and (1,-1) ok lets plug our first point to check what our answer is y-5=-3/2(x+3) does that answer match any of yours??? NO!!! well the only 2 that have -3/2 one has the points (-3.5) and the otehr the point(1.-1) so if we know that the points (-3.5) s=did not work, what will be your last option??? well it would be letter A.. now we know that its A but lets check it out, lets plug in the points y+1=-3/2(x-1) does that match letter A?? YES it does!!! then there you have your answer it is letter A
