K so u would divide 53 and 6 and u would get 8 r 5 so that means 5 students can't go to the field trip so u need one more chaperone for the 5 students so u would need 9 chaperone

To find out how many chaperones are needed we need to know the multiples of 6.
6
,12,18,24,30,36,42,48,54,60,66,72,78,84,90,96,102
Counting how many times 6's go into 53, we get 9.
We will need 9 chaperones!
