The height,h,of an object dropped from a tower 64 feet above the ground can be modeled by the function h=16t^2+64. Which of the following is the independent quantity? A) h , B)t ,C) 64 , D) -16

The independent quantity I would assume is the independent variable which is t. The function can basically be written as X and y variables to have a better observance of which is the independent and dependent variables.

h(t) = 16t^2 + 64
F(X) = 16x^2 + 64
Y = 16x^2 + 64.
