2m/5 = 1/3 (2m-12)
2m/5 = 2/3m -4
2m = 10/3m -20
2m - 10/3m = 20
must have common denominator:
2 - 10/3
(3/3) Ă— 2/1 = 6/3
now continue:
6/3m - 10/3m = -20
-4/3m = 20
-4m = -60
-m = -15
m = 15
the answer is 15.
