the multiplicative inverse is basically the reciprocal. So just flip the number. The 2 numbers, when multiplied, will equal 1.

1/2.....multiplicative inverse is 2/1 or just 2. <==

1/2 * 2/1 = 2/2 = 1 (correct)

The multiplicative inverse of 1 half would be 2, or 2 over 1 (2/1).

Hope this helps. :)
