I need help this is an example, so say that if the probability it will snow on Monday is 8/9 and the probability that it will snow on Tuesday is 3/16, find the probability that it does not snow either day.

probability it will snow on Monday: 8/9

probability it will not snow on Monday, P(A) = 1 - 8/9 = 1/9

probability that it will snow on Tuesday: 3/16

probability that it will not snow on Tuesday, P(B) = 1 - 3/16 = 13/16

Given that the two events are independent, then the probability that it does not snow either day is:

P(A)*P(B) = 1/9*13/16 = 13/144
