First of all, this is a math problem, not an english problem.
Second of all, There are exactly 10 tens in 100. If you count by 10's you can get to 100, by 10 counts. 10, 20, 30, 40, 50, 60, 70, 80, 90, 100. As you can see, it's almost as if you are counting up by ones. Just take away the 0 at the end, and you will be counting up by ones. 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, 9, 10. Then at the end, just add the extra 0 that is missing. 100. Hope this helped!
