Which expression is equivalent to (3y+3) +(y^2 -1) +2y+(y^2+2)

A) 3y^2+3y+4

B) 7y+4

C) 2y^2+5y+4

D) 7y+6

The way I looked at this was the amount of y² s in the expression. There is one fro the second bracket and one from the third so the equivalent expression must have 2y². Therefore the answer must be C
