We have to simplify the expression:

2(-7+4x)-(x-10)

To simplify we can group numbers and x's:

\begin{gathered} 2(-7+4x)-(x-10) \\ 2\cdot(-7)+2\cdot4x-x-(-10) \\ -14+8x-x+10 \\ (-14+10)+(8x-x) \\ -4+7x \end{gathered}
