Multiply 2 and 4x then 2 and -11. Which will equal to 10. Then you should have 8x-22=10 the add 22 and you will have 8x=32 then divide 32/8 and you get your answer

One way is to:
First, multiply 2 by the term inside the parenthesis.
Second, add eleven on both sides.
Third, divide using 4x on both sides.
This will give you your first method.
