What are the zero(s) of the function f(x) = the quantity of 5 x squared minus 25 x, all over x? x = 5 x = 0 and x = 5

(5x^2-25x)/x
simplify
((x)(5)(x-5))/x=5(x-5)=5x-25=f(x)
(just fyi, that x we cancled is a hole)
set to zero
5x-25=0
5x=25
divide 5
x=5

zeroe is at x=5
or (5,0)


x=5 is answer

0= (5x^2-25x)/(x)

Now solve for x

first we divide the numerator by x


0=5x-25

Now we facor out GCF 5


0=5(x-5)

Divide by 5 on both sides


0=x-5

Add 5 on both sides

x= 5

zero of the function is x=5
