Answer:

The leader of the Federalist Party was Alexander Hamilton.

Step-by-step explanation:

The Federalist Party was a political party from the early decades of the United States of America.

Created during the first Washington government (1789-1793) to support the tax policy of its founder, the Secretary of the Treasury Alexander Hamilton, this party was in favor of a strong federal state, a flexible constitution, and a more mercantile and industrialized economy.

Its first leaders were John Adams and Alexander Hamilton, who opposed the Democratic-Republican Party of Thomas Jefferson and James Madison.
