The cells of the organism also communicate with each other through the release of chemicals or by releasing hormones. The communication is important for the cell survival. Two main types of communication are intercellular communication and intracellular communication.

The intracellular communication is used when the cells needs to communicate to its own cell type. For example the communication of B cells with each other to increase its number. Intercellular communication is used by the cells to communicate with different cells of the body. For example the communication between the B cells and macrophages.

- Intercellular : The communication happen between one cell to another
