The inability to get Homestead acts passed to prove cheap land in the west is the only exception in the Populist "revolt". The other choices contributed to this revolt which was organized by the farmers to pursue their right to vote for their political interest. This is an example of populism in which the power of the regular are pushed to get what they want.
