A composite number is a number with more than 2 factors. For example, 10 would be considered a composite number because it has 4 factors which are 1, 2, 5, and 7.

13 would be an example of a number that's not composite because it only has 2 factors which are 1 and 13.

a composite number is a number that has at least 2 (if you count 1) whole number factor(if you count 1 as a factor)

whole numbers are numbers like 1,2,3,4 but not including -2,-4,-5

factors are numbers that make up another number so
the factors of 6 are 1,2,3 because 1 times 2 times 3=6
3 is not composite because the factors are 1,3
