The answer is (3, 1.25).

Explanation:

Since A is at (1, 1.75), count over to B in a way you would count quarters. Don't worry about going down to it just count over to B to where you're over the point. The number that you get for counting over to B is the first number which is 3. Then go back to point A and count down like your counting quarters until you're right across from point B. The number that you get from counting down to B is the second number which is 1.25. Put them together and you get (3, 1.25).
