Answer:

If you have type 1 diabetes, your body does not make insulin. Your immune system attacks and destroys the cells in your pancreas that make insulin. Type 1 diabetes is usually diagnosed in children and young adults, although it can appear at any age. People with type 1 diabetes need to take insulin every day to stay alive. While having type 2 diabetes your body cannot make or handel insulin well

Type 1 Diabetes is an autoimmune disease that occurs when T cells attack and destroy most of the beta cells in the pancreas that are needed to produce insulin, so that the pancreas makes little or no insulin. Without the adequate amounts of insulin, the body is not able to metabolize blood glucose and to use it efficiently for energy, and toxic acids (called ketoacids) build up in the body.

The main factors that can contribute to this disease are f
amily history. and genetics.
