ok, 1.7 squared is what we are looking for.
lets see,
3.4 is the length, and the width is unknown...
3.4, the best i can think of is 0.5
3.4 is twice as much as 1.7 so, the width is rather small. 0.5 units

1.7=3.4z
1.7/3.4= 0.5
