y = 1.5x - 4
y = -x
since y = -x, we will sub -x in for y in the other equation
-x = 1.5x - 4...subtract 1.5x from both sides
-x - 1.5x = -4
-2.5x = -4 ...divide both sides by -2.5
x = -4/-2.5
x = 1.6
y = -x
y = - 1.6
solution is (1.6, -1.6)
