In order to do this question, you will need to divide the total number of people coming by the maximum amount of people a table can hold. You will get a remainder so what you need to do is to add one extra table from your answer.

Solution

= 74/9

= 8 R2

You will need 8 tables plus one more to accommodate the extra two people so you'll need a total of 9 tables.
