Moons are natural satellites. They do not orbit the Sun directly. Instead, they move in an orbit around a celestial body, such as a planet. Which celestial bodies have one or more moons?

asteroids
comets
dwarf planets
meteoroids

Planet and a dwarf planet.

The natural satellite that revolves around a heavenly body is identified as the moon. The celestial body is particular to planetoids and dwarf planetoids. For example, planet Earth has one satellite, Mars has two satellites, and a Pluto which is dwarf planetoid has more satellites in comparison to other planets.
