What is the area, in square inches, of the figure shown here?

A parallelogram with a height of 2 inches is shown. The height of the parallelogram is used to divide the side of the parallelogram into 5 inches, which is the length (or side) of the rectangle, and into 2 inches, which is the base of the triangle formed by the division.
