- 3 1/4 and - 1 1/2
3 1/4 = (3*4 + 1)/4 = (12 + 1) / 4 = 13 / 4
1 1/2 = (1*2 + 1)/2 = (2 + 1) / 2 = 3 / 2
Product of - 3 1/4 and - 1 1/2 = - 13/4 * -3/2
= 39 / 8
= 4 7/8

The answer is 39/8 but simplify it and u get 4 7/8, in decimal form answer would be 4.875 hope this helps man
